Kesennuma was the first town in Japan to declare itself a “Slow Food City”.

The term “slow food”. means means “using the local ingredients in the region and reviewing the traditional food culture of the area.
In the area, which is being developed as an attractive area to experience the port town culture of Kesennuma, 91 (Nine-One) was created as a place where you can spend quality time with your loved ones while enjoying dishes made with abundant of Kesennuma ingredients.
